At Wilderkids Nature Crafts, we believe early childhood is a time for deep connection, gentle presence, and meaningful shared experiences.
Our sessions are thoughtfully designed for children aged 2 to 10 years and their parents or caregivers, with a strong emphasis on bonding and co-regulation. In these early years, creativity isn’t about outcomes — it’s about the process of exploring together, feeling safe, and being fully present. Parents are always part of our sessions, creating, learning, and discovering alongside their children.
We offer enriched arts and crafts experiences inspired by nature. Using natural, recycled, and seasonal materials, children are invited to explore colour, texture, shape, and movement in open-ended ways. Sticks, leaves, clay, earth pigments, flowers, and found objects become tools for expression, imagination, and storytelling. There is no right or wrong — just curiosity, experimentation, and joy.

Wilderkids Nature Crafts was founded by Tanya Von Wielligh, a mum of two nature-loving girls. With a lifelong passion for creativity and art, Tanya has always found joy in making, exploring, and creating — especially with natural materials — and becoming a mother deepened her desire to slow down and experience creativity through a child’s eyes.
Currently studying Early Childhood Education, Tanya brings together her creative background, her love of nature, and her growing professional knowledge of child development. Wilderkids was created as a way to share this passion with the wider community — offering families a space to connect, create, and experience the joy of nature-based crafts together.
